Campus Planning

Your Voice Shapes the Future

As our campus continues to grow and evolve, our transportation systems must keep pace. From busses and biking to walking, parking, and accessibility, UC Davis is Moving Forward Together, rethinking how transportation works for students, staff, faculty, and visitors. That's why we'll be out in the community again this fall, gathering more of your comments to help us shape the future of transportation on campus.

Community Voices, Shared Vision:

At UC Davis, mobility isn’t just about getting from point A to point B—it’s part of who we are. With one of the most vibrant cycling communities in the country, our campus is a national model for green transportation. But even strong systems can improve, and that’s where our community engagement comes in.

New Stop Signs Coming to La Rue Road starting Jan. 20

Watch for changes to La Rue Road, where we're adding stop signs in response to community input, including feedback from the Moving Forward Together initiative. The new stop signs are being installed to address concerns about vehicle speeds and create a safer environment for all.

Shape the Future of Sustainable Transportation at UC Davis

UC Davis is inviting students, faculty, staff, and local community members to play an active role in shaping the future of sustainable transportation on campus by attending an Open House for the Moving Forward Together initiative. This initiative offers a unique opportunity for everyone to contribute their ideas to improve transportation safety, sustainability, and accessibility.

Building Community

The most ambitious student housing development plan in UC Davis history is underway right now. As UC Davis grows its student population, the campus has also committed to house even higher percentages of students than in the past.
